How to play Fruit Typing

  1. Press Start. Fruit begins to fall from the top of the box.
  2. Type the word on any fruit. The first letter locks onto that fruit (its label turns yellow), and the rest of the word must follow.
  3. Finish the word and the fruit is caught. You score one point per letter.
  4. Three fruits on the ground and the game is over.

A wrong letter is a miss: it doesn't cost a life, but it lowers your accuracy and wastes time. The game speeds up as you go, and after the first minute the words get longer.

Tips for a high score

  • Go for the lowest fruit first. When two words share a first letter, the lower one is picked.
  • Read the next word while you type the current one.
  • Stay on the home row and don't look down. Short words reward smooth, steady typing.
