Ready?
Flies are buzzing around the pond. Type a fly's word to catch it before its time bar runs out. Three escapes and the frog goes hungry.
How to play Frog Typing
- Press Start. Flies appear around the pond, each with a word and a red time bar.
- Type a fly's word to catch it. The first letter picks the fly.
- Each catch scores one point per letter, and the frog hops for joy.
- If three flies escape before you catch them, the game is over.
Flies don't move; instead, each one gives you less time as the game goes on. That makes Frog Typing a quick test of reaction speed: spot a word, type it, move on.
Tips for catching more flies
- Watch the time bars and catch the fly with the shortest bar first.
- The words are short, so type each one in a single quick burst.
- Keep your fingers on the home row between words so you are ready for any letter.
Frog Typing is a good first game for beginners and kids. When it gets easy, try Space Typing, which has longer words.
